Eyebrows really tell us a lot about a person. They are a key facial feature that help others read your expressions and help with facial recognition. Brows come in all different shapes and sizes, and you can use all types of products to alter their appearance. Have you seen that Buzzfeed article of all the celebrity photos that have their brows erased? Did you see how different they looked?
If there is one thing you should know about me, it’s that I love my eyebrows. Thankfully, I was gifted with great brows when I was a kid, but I do love enhancing their shape and depth with brow products.
My sister and I kept seeing advertisements everywhere for Wunder2 Wunderbrow
and we wanted to give it a shot. Without doing any research on the product, I ordered ours on Amazon, for just $22. The Wunder2 Wunderbrow comes in five different shades: blonde, auburn, brunette, black/brown, jet black. This products claims to last for days and is supposed to be waterproof, smudge proof and transfer-proof.
After trying out the Wunderbrow, and doing more research post-filming, there are 3 things you need to know about Wunderbrow.
It’s Quick Drying
You have limited time to work on your brows using the Wunderbrow because it dries in two minutes. So, if you are a perfectionist like me, this product might not be great for you. I like to take my time on brow shape and continuously work on them until I feel like my brows are perfect. Since this product dries quickly, I find that I can’t work on my brows as long as I’d like to and I end up having to use more product.
Makeup Remover Easily Removes the Gel
This product states that it lasts for days, which gave me the impression that it was going to withstand facial cleansers. This is absolutely not true. After we wrapped up filming and did some more research, my sister and I discovered that this product is meant to be easily removed, and really only lasts for days if you are not properly washing your face. If you are in the market for a long lasting brow gel that can withstand the pool, or
the beach, this might be the perfect product for you. Makeup remover wipes and oil cleansers do a great job of removing the products from your brows, as seen in the later portion of my newest YouTube video.
Stay Away From Facial Oils
Not only do face oil cleansers remove the product, but beauty oils you may be applying on your face also prevent the Wunderbrow from lasting as long as it should. Yesterday, I used my Farsali Rose Gold Exilir while applying my foundation and when I put my Wunderbrow on, I noticed it kept smearing and wouldn’t dry the way it had been during previous uses. I did a little experiment and dropped a bit of the Elixir on my brow and I was able to completely remove the gel from my brow hairs using a towel.
Overall, I did like this product and I would definitely use this again if I were going on a trip, or if I was spending a day at the beach, or pool.
