DIY Ideas for Spring

DIY Ideas for Spring

Spring is a little over a month away and I can’t wait.

I’m already gearing up for some serious spring cleaning. A couple days ago, I completely reorganized my office/studio space and it felt so good to have order in that room again. But spring is also great because plants start actively growing again ā€“ which means new plant additions and landscaping projects!

I honestly can’t wait for spring season. Everything comes back to life and the days start growing longers again. But for now, I’m staying focused on keeping my house clean and in order. That’s partly why my hair tie is on my arm in the photo…I can never remember to take it off for pictures. If you are looking for projects to help with organization and spring cleaning check out the following projects below!

Marble Industrial Beauty Stand

IKEA Hack - Marble Shelves 3

This IKEA stand looks stunning with this marble upgrade. When I made this I still didn’t have a vanity, so I was in desperate need for some shelving for all my skincare and beauty needs. You can also take this project and apply it to larger shelving units if you like the look but need more space.

Stonewear Vases

For those of you who have old vases from past Valentine’s Days or edible arrangements, this is the perfect project for you. Stonewear is still a popular look and very achievable with this easy DIY project. Spring cleaning gets easier when your vases and jars are upgraded to the latest trends.

Mini Vegetable Garden

Spring season means it’s the perfect time to start your own vegetable garden ā€“ no matter how big or small. No more rushing to the grocery store to get a bundle or herbs or vegetables. You can just pop outside and grab it from your own garden! I brought mine inside for the winter but warmer weather means happy plants.

Seashell Candles

Once you do a little spring cleaning, these seashell candles would look great on a vanity or as bathroom decor. Picture them around a beautiful garden tub or in a windowsill. These tealight candles can also make great gifts. I’ve been enjoying them during evening baths by candle light.

Rope Basket

DIY Rope Baskets

It’s been great having a few of these rope baskets around the house. I use one as a planter and another as storage for my dogs’ toys. They help with organization and they’re also great at concealing ugly eye-sores. All hideous baskets can be converted into one of these beauties.
