We are nearing the Holiday Season…
…my favorite time of the year! Since we are nearing 2022 already, I figured it was a good time to give you guys a life update. So much has happened this year.
Just last year, I was mad at myself for not blogging as much as I wanted to and not keeping to a regular post schedule. I’ve been doing pretty well this year and trying harder than ever to create content that people want to see and follow. This little blog and my Etsy shop are everything to me and I’m so happy that we’ve come so far.
Married & Trying…Again
Just before our one year of being engaged, Pat and I found out we were having a baby. But a month and a half before the wedding we sadly sufferent a missed miscarriage. It’s been tough healing from that, emotionally, but we’re in a good place now. We’ve decided to start trying again and hope that we have better luck soon.

Plant + Home Improvements
I’ve been wanting to paint my bathroom vanities and kitchen cabinets but I haven’t been able to get around to that just yet. But that doesn’t mean our home improvements weren’t a total bust. We were able to update a few things in the house and install a drainage system to keep the yarn from staying saturated in water for an extended period of time.

I’ve also taken steps to eventually own my own greenhouse. I have so many plants inside my house now but I started collecting more and more “rare” plants for future propagation. Pat and I are thinking about possibly buying a metal greenhouse to improve the environment for some of my other plants who are too far from a window or not getting ideal humidity requirements.
New Etsy Shop Listings
It’s been a goal of time to continue to provide unique home decor & gift options on my Etsy shop. I’ve been working hard creating small batch candles with curated scents as well as vintage glass candles. I scour thrift and antique stores looking for unique and beautiful glass pieces to make my products. I also started dabbling with resin again, hoping to perfect my skills a bit.
So that’s been my life lately. There’s been a lot, and I’ve been busy, but no complaints here!
