My Latest Thrift Store Finds

It’s been a minute since we did a thrift store round up.

I was recently able to spend a Saturday thrift store shopping with my parents in the greater Charlotte area. I was hoping to find decor items for the wedding, but also some items for potential thrift flips. I ended up finding so much more! These thrift store finds are probably some of my favorites and I plan on keeping them for years to come.

Vintage Oil Lamp

At least, that’s what I think this is. It honestly looks like a candle holder with a cool glass cover.  If you guys know the exact name of it, please drop it in the comments. I stuck a small candlestick in it and plan to use it as table top decor in my home but also as decor at my wedding!

Gold Wire Bowl

I wish I knew what on earth this was. I bought it because it looked cool without the glass bowl inside it. It reminded me of a wire fruit bowl?? I don’t know what the heck it is though. What is it’s true purpose?? If you know, please tell me in the comments. I’m probably going to use this, with the glass bowl, as the holder for the sparklers for the wedding. It’s large enough for multiple hands to grab sparklers for our send off.

Brass Candlesticks

I always keep my eyes peeled for brass candlesticks. They’re timeless and so many people want to use them for wedding decor these days – including me. But I also like to use them around the house or on a dinner table. During Thanksgiving and Christmas, you’ll see these candlesticks on my fireplace mantle with beautiful faux garlands. When you thrift these candlesticks, you get them for an amazing price…even as low as 99 cents sometimes!

Glass Jewelry Boxes / Curio

These glass boxes have always been favorites of mine. Whenever I go thrifting or antiquing, I look for them. They’re perfect to give as gifts or to display some of your favorite jewelry pieces. Recently, they’ve made a modern come-back as beauty shelves or curios.

I always use these tips when I am thrifting for diamonds in the rough. I want to walk out of the store feeling proud of what I found. I treat each of my thrift store finds like treasure and I hope you do too!

Hey thrifters, have you had an interesting finds recently?
