The Perfect Sparkling Sangria

The Perfect Sparkling Sangria

St. Patrick’s Day deserves a proper celebration.

Forget bar-hopping and block parties – No. Thank. You. Never really been into that sort of thing. Instead, I am making my own St. Paddy’s Day Sparkling Sangria and hanging out with Pat at home. You can’t beat that.

But this holiday deserves more than just a beer or a canned cocktail. It deserves to be boujee because we are still dealing with the pandemic and we are not going to let it stop us from treating ourselves. Pat and I are keeping it real low key, but there’s no reason why we can’t celebrate with this tasty green drink. Finally, after looking at several sparkling sangria recipes online, I decided to share a combo of two I thought sounded best.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

1 diced green apple.

1 diced cucumber.

1 cup of fresh seedless white grapes.

2 sliced lemons.

2 sliced limes.

1 750 ml bottle of chilled Moscato.

1/2 bottle of sparkling soda.

MIXOLOGY

In a bowl, combine apples, cucumbers, lemons, limes, and grapes.

Pour in the chilled Moscato.

Pour in the bottle of sparkling soda and stir thoroughly.

Lastly, pour sangria in wine glasses.

What do you think of this sparkling sangria? It tastes as beautiful as it looks, too! I am going to keep posting more drink recipes as I stumble across ones I love. Do you guys have any food or drink recipes you think I may like? Have you checked out my cranberry mimosa? Afterall, cranberries are still in season through May! What are you doing to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?

Are you going to try this Sparkling Sangria?
