Long sleeve blouse in summer? Whaaaat??
I promise I have not lost it. This incredible volume sleeve blouse is my new summer staple. Aside from the gorgeous fit, it pairs well with almost everything…jeans, pencil skirts, shorts. I can wear it to the office, on a date, or when I want to elevate a casual outfit. The lace-up front and scoop neck give it an edge that balances out the volume in the sleeves and the button cuffs give it a touch of elegance.
If you are a fellow Charlottean you know it’s hot as hell outside in the summer but this top is so breathable – you won’t feel like you are baking in it. Trust me. This blouse is made out of a comfortable cotton x linen blend. I plan on bringing this top with me when I go to Savannah, Georgia for my birthday in August!
But back to the Charlotte heat…when Pat and I left the house to go shoot, I sat down in the front passenger seat and burned the back of my thighs. I’m serious. Am I losing my mind or is it getting hotter with each passing summer? The other day, I hopped into the car on my way home from the office and tried to roll down my window – I thought my finger was going to melt as I held the window button down. I love summer vibes and adventures but I am ready to say goodbye to the heat. It’s winter in Australia – should I go there and wait out the heat? lol
