People shouldn’t shame others for wearing makeup, or for the amount of makeup they choose to wear. I wear makeup because I love it. It’s fun to experiment and try new looks as well as new products.
The trend of shaming women who wear makeup has become increasingly unfair to those, like myself, who simply just love makeup; and who doesn’t love makeup?! Yes, that trend does appear to try to boost self-confidence in girls and get them to love their faces, bare, but the campaign commended the “Bravery” of those willing to go without concealer…how is that positive? Am I brave to show my own face? No.
Makeup is not only fun for me, but it helps give me that boost of self-confidence I sometimes need. #ThePowerOfMakeup
