Sephora Sale Favorites | Bridal Look Picks

Over the years, I only ever had one makeup artist really give me a look I loved.

She once taught me and my sister how to do a smokey eye backstage at a fashion show. She even encouraged us to learn how to do our own fashion show makeup because show prep is always chaotic. Thanks to her, I’ve been doing special occasion, stage, and shoot makeup for about ten years.

With that said, I’ve never had to do a bridal look. I know brides typically want to be pampered on their wedding day and choose to have someone do their makeup, but I’m not quite sure I am one of those brides. I am by no means saying that a makeup artist isn’t worth it – I just have enough experience and confidence to know I can create a bridal look I am proud and excited about.

That brings us to the Sephora Sale! If you are looking to build your own bridal look, or if you just want some new product, check out Sephora’s Holiday Savings Event. I’ve been doing some research and there are a handful of products I’d like to purchase to help me achieve my bridal look. Don’t get me wrong, I won’t be buying everything on this list. However, I’ve never tried a few of the items listed below. I’m excited to have a chance to experiment with new product, and even more excited about the Sephora sale!

It’s important to note the Sephora sale starts for Rouge members on October 30th. Depending on your membership level the Sephora sale discounts range from 10%, 15%, and 20% off your total purchase. You can use the discount an unlimited amount of times throughout the duration of the Sephora sale, too!

Once I have everything I need, I am going to be practicing my wedding day look a few times to make sure the products work well with my skin type and that the makeup lasts all day. For anyone who is opting to DIY their bridal look, I recommend practicing/testing at least two times before the big day.

Anyone else done their own bridal makeup? What were your wedding day beauty staples?
