Let’s change things up a bit and throw a more masculine silhouette into the mix.
We have all started to see fashion girls wearing oversized blazers and coats this season. I wanted to show you all how I styled mine. I thrifted this coat a couple weeks ago and it only cost me a mere $10. You might be able to find a coat perfect for you in your dad’s closet or at any thrift store. (Don’t limit yourself to just the women’s section.)
This oversized coat is going to be on high rotation this Fall and Winter. I purchased it because of the neutral colors – it’s easier to match with a lot of my F/W wear. I wanted to dress this coat down, so I paired it with jeans and a plain white tee. To tie in the black velvet on the collar, I wore my favorite Donald J. Pliner booties.
I prefer to scrunch the sleeves up, otherwise, the coat swallows me up in its boxy frame. I folded the cuffs to expose the black lining and to keep the sleeves from falling down the length of my arms.
