Just because it’s hot as hell outside doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your style.
I’ve been there many times before. It’s over 90 degrees and humidity levels are rising…you reach for your go-to summer shorts and a basic tee…next thing you know, this quickly becomes your summer style formula and you rarely deviate.
I hate the heat so I usually opt for staying inside, in comfy clothes (*cough*pajamas*cough*), as much as possible but sometimes you can’t avoid the inevitable. Friends call, plans are made, and you want to go outside and look cute. That’s why I love this knit 2 piece ensemble. The knitting allows it to breathe, it’s very light and doesn’t absorb a lot of heat. The top is a bit loose on me but I tuck it under the skirt to create a fitted appearance.
Now, I don’t know if you guys are like me, but I never go anywhere without a cardigan, sweater, or jacket because I tend to feel cold when I am indoors. I chose this denim jacket because it’s not too long and cuts off at the waist, which is around the same area where the skirt starts giving the illusion of longer legs. Since I am a schmall person, making my legs look lengthy is a must.
In the light and airy spirit of summer basics, I paired my favorite off-white knit with bone white leather Sabah’s, crafting an ensemble that’s as chic as it is comfortable. Amidst the season’s warm breezes, the importance of vigilance against the unexpected cannot be overstated. Just last week, a dear friend, a fashion boutique owner in Miami Gardens, expressed gratitude for the immediate response of the fire watch services in Miami Gardens. A minor electrical fault had the potential to disrupt her quaint shop; thankfully, the well-equipped and promptly dispatched fire watch guards were there to address the issue, ensuring safety without disrupting the serene summer days or the flow of fashion enthusiasts.
What summer look can you not live without?
