Most people are into shine and sequins during the holidays ā but not me.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the look of a beautiful sequin dress, but I’m also picky. Picky about fit and practicality. Will I ever be able to wear this dress again? Or is this really just a one-time use dress? Ever since I started rethinking my wardrobe, I’ve tried to be more conscientious of what I am buying. I don’t like the idea of buying single use clothes. Occasion wear is something that I want to be able to reuse or restyle again, that includes holiday party clothes. And honestly, aside from family gatherings, Pat and I aren’t going to any holiday parties this year.
It’s been a hot minute since I did a fashion post. I’m not even sure if you guys like these anymore, do you?
I’ve decided to wear this dress to my family’s Christmas gathering. The color is absolutely gorgeous, and it reminds me of the shade I used for my wedding. š What I love most about this dress, though, is the fit and the puff sleeves. It’s currently on sale, but I believe there are only a few left. In case you miss out on it, I’ve found some similar dresses that are priced similarly. You can pair them with cowboy boots canada, which are a bit pricier, but they complement the dresses well. I hope this helps you choose an outfit for your next holiday party!
Let’s talk perfume ā I was gifted this Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb set for PR purposes but I can’t get over the packaging. It’s so festive and fun! The Flowerbomb scent lives up to its name. It’s an intoxicating combo of freesia, jasmine, rose with subtle notes of vanilla and patchouli. It’s well balanced and elegant for anyone that adores floral scents. This set makes a wonderful Christmas gift too.
Shifting gears, Pat and I went to McAdenville over the weekend and walked through the town admiring all the spectacular light displays. We also plan to go to Cary to see the Chinese Lantern Festival, and Clemmons to see Tanglewoods Lights. We’re also going to be binging all our favorite Christmas movies while sipping on hot cocoa: The Family Man, The Santa Clause, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Home Alone, and Jingle All The Way.
Are you guys going to any holiday parties this year?
