March has been a pretty intense month, celebrating three birthdays, my sister coming back in town as a surprise, and recovering from losing everything on my hard drive. I feel like I’m behind on a lot of work and I’m feeling pretty sluggish – could be lack of energy because of the pregnancy. I’ve been trying to take it easy, but my mind keeps racing.
The baby will be here soon and there’s so much left to do, get furniture, finish the nursery, fix up the lawn. Thankfully my dad is going to come over and help me install the crown moulding in the nursery soon! But we had some bad news about the crib. It may take 10 weeks to get here, which is about when my due date is…so we are cutting it pretty close.
With all this stress going on, I wanted to share a few things I’m loving lately…
Spring/Summer Shoes
I’ve never really been into open-toed shoes – I don’t like feet & toes lol. I’m also definitely more of a sneaker gal, but I love getting dressed up for dates or fancy events. My jaw dropped when I saw these beautiful shoes by Sam Edelman. It’s the perfect heel for spring + summer months and I plan to wear the heck out of these until my feet swell (yes, that’s a thing in pregnancy.) There’s no surprise as to why this is at the top of my Things I’m Loving Lately list.
Sam Edelman gifted me these shoes for PR purposes.
Maternity Dresses
I’ve been pretty picky about adding maternity clothes to my wardrobe. This body shape is temporary, so I don’t want to do a total overhaul of clothes. However, I have been shopping some stretchy maternity dresses that can be worn post-pregnancy, making them perfect for long-term wear. I love every dress I purchased, and love that it’s flattering on any body type. I can’t wait to wear these for years to come.

Framed Fine Art Prints
After my dad gave me a museum grade giclee print of my ancestor’s, (John Tullidge) painting, I’ve been on a fine art kick. I’ve been buying digital prints on Etsy and having them printed via Printique as giclee prints. Giclee is a higher quality print that mimics paint on canvas. I’ve been slowly transitioning out some of my own ameteur work for more skilled art peices. And for the record, fine art prints also look great in bathrooms and add a sense of elegance to a small space.
Instax Photos + Albums
Since 2014, I’ve been obsessed with my Instax Wide. I have quite a few albums for both my wide and minis, taking a few precious photos a year. I’m pretty sure I’ve taken more Instax photos in 2022, than any year previous. I’ve been trying to live up to my New Year’s goals to take more photos.
For Pat’s 30th birthday, I took photos of our guests with my Wide, and filled a photo book for him. It made a wonderful little keepsake gift for him.
My Laundry Room
I still can’t get enough of my laundry room. I love being able to fold my laundry on the butcher block counter, and having everything perfectly organized. It’s not a large room, but I can comfortably spend time in here, moving clothes between machines & folding. This is arguably the nicest room in the whole house now, lol.
